Mexico-US Sister Cities
Boost Human attended the Mexico – U.S. Sister Cities Mayors’ Summit in El Paso, TX where mayors, municipal officials, entrepreneurs, academics, and civic leaders met to connect and share experiences.
Boost Human’s team are natives from Ciudad Juarez, El Paso, Nuevo Casas Grandes, and Torreon to name a few, so the binational spirit of the Sister City Summit resonates strongly with us.
Speakers and special guests shared their years of experience in business, government, and diplomacy in panels and presentations. Boost Human’s own Dr. Ivan Gris spoke at the Technology Across Borders panel about his experiences that brought him to where he is now and how they shaped his vision of the future of technology here in the U.S.-Mexico borderland. A major topic in the panel focused on the incredible talent cultivated in both El Paso and Juarez and how that talent tends to leave. High-tech jobs just aren’t commonplace here as they are in California or similar technology-oriented locations. One of Boost Human’s goals is to retain local talent by providing these high-tech jobs in VR, AR, and MR.
